The loss
A storm sent a large tree through the roof of a family's home. The visible hole was dramatic, but the real claim was the structural and water damage hiding beneath it.

What we did
We were on site early, before the temporary tarp and cleanup covered everything, and documented the structural damage to the framing and the water that had already entered, alongside the obvious roof damage. Getting there first meant the full extent was on record before it was hidden.
The outcome
The claim reflected the structural and water damage under the tree, not just the hole everyone could see. Because it was documented before cleanup, none of it had to be argued back in later.
The tree was the obvious part. What it did to the structure and let in underneath was the real damage, and they caught all of it before it got covered up.
