Why we’re here
We work for the person who has to live with the outcome.
Not the insurance company. And not everyone else on your claim who’s paid by the insurance company. We’re here to even the scales and work to make you whole again.
What we mean by fair
Nobody calls us on a good day.
By the time someone calls us, the fire is out and the water is off, and the part nobody is ready for is just starting: proving what you lost to a company that has already decided what it’s worth.
We’ve read a lot of first offers. Very few of them were close. That’s the whole reason this firm exists, and it’s why fair, to us, isn’t a sentiment. It’s what your policy actually owes once the loss is documented room by room, priced, and put in writing. If we can’t prove it, we don’t claim it.
That cuts both ways. We don’t get paid until you recover, so a claim we can’t move is a claim we worked for nothing. And if the number already on the table is close to what the policy owes, you’ll hear that from us, even though it costs us the job. The name is the standard. We hold the insurance company to it, and you get to hold us to it.
Who works your claim
The names on the licenses.
Michigan licenses the adjuster, not the firm. A company name on a door carries nothing on its own, so here are the people the work actually runs on. Ask anyone else you’re considering for the same list, and notice who hesitates.

How we got here
Our old names told you where we worked. This one tells you what to expect.
We opened as Public Adjusters of Michigan, working metro Detroit. When the work took us past the state line we became Public Adjusters Midwest, and on the radio that got shortened to PAM. Both were true. Neither told you anything you could hold us to.
The licenses, the people and the phone number are the same, and we still work out of Ferndale. If you got here looking for PAM, here is the longer version.
Public Adjusters of Michigan
Where we started, working fire and water losses around metro Detroit.
Public Adjusters Midwest
The work crossed the state line. On the radio it became PAM, and the ads said Call PAM First.
AdjustFair
The same licensed adjusters, the same Ferndale office and the same phone number, under a name you can hold us to.
Now put one of us |on your claim.
One call, and a licensed adjuster takes it from there: documenting the loss, dealing with the insurance company, and telling you where it stands.
